Caregiver Job Description 

SeniCare is seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to join our team in the Northeast Mountains - Poconos PA. As a caregiver with SeniCare you'll play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors in our community

Position: Caregiver (Full-time and Part-time positions available)

Location: Northeast Mountains - Poconos PA

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Remind clients to take medications as prescribed
• Assist with mobility and transfers
• Monitor and report changes in client's condition
• Provide transportation to appointments and social activities
• Engage clients in stimulating activities and conversations
• Maintain accurate records of care provided

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license / Insurance and reliable transportation
• 1+ year of caregiving experience (Required)

• Required to provide proof of TB Negative test
• HHA or CNA certification a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others
• Physical ability to assist clients with mobility
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
